Visited and the Service Advisors were very friendly, listened to my needs and inspected my vehicle to make sure of the service and any additional parts required. A loaner vehicle was available for my needs. When I dropped off my vehicle, everything went like clockwork and the service performed was above my expectations. Being a migrant to Flint are I learned a history of their business and longevity. I will be returning for any additional vehicle needs.

I live down the street, 3:30 pm car died...battery. Spent 45 minutes on phone with road side service, they were going to charge me $60 for a jump. While I was waiting for a return call I thought of Shelton. Walk down the street to inquire about a battery They let me use their jumper, brought car in checked to see if battery was bad, had a new one in by 5:00 pm. At a good price. It was refreshing to see customer service at its best. I found my car service station. Thanks guys!

My Buick Encore was throwing a P0420 code. I looked it up & it could have been O2 sensors (either before or after the catylic converter, or a catylic converter, or all three). Well... it was none of these things. Sheldon Automotive didn't just plug in a diagnostic tester (like I did) & tell me this diagnosis. Their testing showed it was actually a failing Eco Turbo. They explained everything to me & answered all of my questions. They're very knowledgeable & took great care of me. Thank You Gentlemen!

We had a timing chain replacement in our HHR, got a fantastic job no problems. The service was good and fair priced. In January of this year we had a problem car just quit. Started it up, engine came on, the code said it could be a couple of things. The parts were going to be expensive so I took the HHR my wife's car in, it has to be dependable. Shelton's started doing some checking and found the throttle body was just dirty gummed up. A good cleaning and $50 later it was done. They could've charged for those expensive parts and I would never known it so I really trust them and I've recommended a couple other friends to them and they've been very satisfied also. Now we are going to set up a maintenance program for our cars which will take away a lot of worries about breakdowns. My wife hauls our great grandkids around and grandkids so we need a car that's dependable. Thank you Shelton Automotive, we appreciate all you do.

Took our fleet van in for service for a number of problems: the steering column was shot, battery was gone and a series of other problems that comes with different people driving a van. My wife's car had an issue with air conditioning- brought it to a dealership in grand blanc that deals with Honda's and they wanted at least $700 and a day to fix the issue. Shelton's work? 3 hours and $50. Not to mention they'll help you with transportation needs while servicing your car. Support local businesses, and at a 93% savings why wouldn't you?

Family owned businesses are getting harder and harder to come by these days, but Shelton's is still the shop to beat in town. What was once an old gas station (so my Dad tells me) is now a full service and repair center that even dabbles in buying and selling used cars. The owner (Myron), his son, and the owner's grandson all work here, in addition to a handful of other mechanics. Very honest and trustworthy, which is important if you're like me and wouldn't know a wheel bearing from a ball joint (or how much either one retails for). My mom even gets her oil changed here because they offer a better price than the Jiffy Lube down the street.
